Examples Of Course Wikis
Mr. Kabodian's English Classes' wiki pages

This is an excellent example of a class wiki from a middle school English teacher. It contains a lot of course materials, resources for his students, and student work, including what he calls "spotlight on excellent student work." This site is very thorough and easy to navigate.

Mr. Hyler's 7th & 8th Grade LA Wiki
Critical Analysis of Media Wiki

This wiki, for Michael Jones' and David Gelb's course offered at the University of Toronto, is a collection of course materials and student work. It is a bit dated and last updated in 2006, but this site is easy to navigate and fun to check out. A wiki for a different course, "Imagining the Audience in a Wired World," by the same instructors can be found here, and the wiki for course offered in 2009 by Michael Jones and Gail Bennick can be found here.

Anna Hamann's Argument and Exposition wiki

This wiki works as an online archive of class information for students, as well as the site of all student work and their notes on class materials.

Dr. MC Morgan's course wikis

A list of links to all of his course wikis. These wikis, as well, tend to be a repository of class information, assignments, notes, and student work, both individual and collaborative.

Mrs. Huff's Classroom Wiki

This wiki is for Mrs. Huff's high school English classes. This site contains content that is collaboratively created by her students related to the books and stories they have read, as well as portfolios and individual works by her students.

Westwood School's Wiki

This is a collection of wikis for Vicki Davis' high school-level computer programming and SAT prep classes. There are some course materials here, but mostly this is a collection of student work. Of interest is the Hour of Code wiki which contains lesson plans her 9th and 10th graders came up with to teach elementary school students coding and programming.

Rhetoric and Composition

This site, created by Kem Crimmins of Penn State University is a bit dated. It was last updated in 2006. It contains course materials and student work for a college composition and rhetoric class. It is not the easiest of these sites to navigate, but does contain some really interesting examples of student wiki work.

Educational Wikis hosted by Wikispaces

Follow the link above for a rather thorough list of educational wikis hosted by wikispaces, although not all of them are for classroom purposes, you can get an idea of what people are doing with wikispaces software.
